I'm coming to you with an update. We have made 5 changes and I’m happy to introduce them below.
In this update:
Change in integration with Jira. Worklogs entered in the settled period will no longer be loaded
If you settle the period in the project in Primetric and make any changes in the same period in Jira, the change will not be updated in Primetric. This helps us give you more accurate data and eliminate the gap between Tracked and Settled Finances. But don't worry, you can still update the worklogs added in Jira even after you've settled this very period in Primetric. Just follow the steps in this article: ⏩ Timesheets are already locked? New functionalities: Duplicate and Close the project
We don't like wasting time on repetitive things. To make life easier for users, we have added the function of copying and closing projects.
The manager can use these functions if the administrator has granted the appropriate access: Organization or Project Actions.
To duplicate a project, click the Duplicate project button. A pop-up window with the settings will be displayed.
1️⃣ The title of the project will be marked "Copy" so you won't be in doubt about which settings you are in.
2️⃣ Decide which design elements you want to copy.
3️⃣ Decide from which date the selected data should be copied. If the project ran from August to December and you copy the data from September to December, the August data will not be copied.
4️⃣ Note that a work log without assignments does not exist in our system. So when you copy worklogs, the assignments will be loaded automatically as well.
To close the project, click the Close button. A pop-up window appears with the settings:
1️⃣ You can decide if you want to complete the project immediately or on a specific date.
2️⃣ Think about what data you want to collect even after closing the project. is completed. Select items to be deleted after the selected end date.
3️⃣ Additional security measure: enter DELETE to confirm.
The information about copying and closing the project will be displayed in the activity list, so you won't lose track of it:
Lost in the data? Not anymore. Introduction of a Glossary
Look at the bottom of the sidebar. There is a new section called Glossary. With its help, you can look up the meaning of most terms used in the Primetric system. The 🆙 button helps you navigate through the dictionary. Press 🆙 to return to the alphabet list and go to definitions with a different letter.
Ability to personalize data in assignments (Managers role)
From now on you can personalize assignments by choosing which dates you want to display and in which order:
Information about a specific date when filtering by the project phase in "Show utilization for:"
Utilization is an indicator measured in time, so if the start and end date of a given phase of the project are not indicated, it is not possible to filter the utilization after such a phase:
