Improved Project Planning view
Section A is like a control panel of project phases. It lets you create / edit / delete, and filter project phases. Depending on which phases you choose, you will see only data related to these phases.
In section A you can:
- add new phase by clicking the "Add phase" button
- edit / remove phase by hovering mouse on it and selecting the "edit" or "remove" icons
- check or uncheck phases that you want / don't want to analyze
- filter phases by providing its name
Other means any work assigned to the whole project.
Section B gives you control over project estimations. Here you can configure project phases, e.g. Estimated work (hours), Average hour cost, Total cost, Average hour price, and Total income.
Hint: Basically, it is the Estimation tab moved to section B.
Section C shows you charts comparing estimations to scheduling. To analyze project phases(s) you can check / uncheck interesting ones in section A.
Section D allows you to assign people to project and track their performance.
Below you can find a short explanation of section D.
A - basic information about the assignment that person has, e.g. type (Active, Reserved, Draft), name, duration,
B - remove a person from the project. It is available only if a person doesn't have any assignments in a project,
C - expand finished/old assignments,
D - scheduled (white color) vs tracked time with a division to billable (green color), and non-billable time (gray color),
E - number of tracked hours,
F - add a new assignment or see a person's calendar,
G - team member name. It is blue if he/she has assignments, and gray if not,
H - search bar, so you can quickly find people already assigned to projects,
I - show additional information about the person's details or/and finance data.
How section D looks like with the person's details and finance data enabled?
