Calendar R(E)volution - it's faster, easier, better
Finally! The new calendar is here! Now, it's faster, easier to use and configure.
What's new?
- approve / reject time-offs directly from the calendar
- additional configuration options:
- show/hide scheduled vs. capacity status bars,
- show/hide tracked vs. scheduled status bars,
- show/hide availability vs. capacity status bars,
- show/hide tracked vs. capacity status bars,
- dynamic assignments loading and creation and improved data filtering and visibility
Overview of the new design
A - Filtering options - here you can filter data by people and assignments that should be shown on the calendar,
B - Sorting and utilization calculation options - allows you to sort people by workload / the last name and configure for which period the utilization should be calculated,
C - Assignments visibility options - allows you to enable / disable visibility of the specific assignments types,
D - Date picker -allows you to change the date quickly, return to "today's" day, or switch calendar between daily, weekly and monthly view,
E - Advanced visibility options - allows you to customize the calendar to your needs,
F - shows different types of utilization bars,
G - allows you to hide/show nonbillable assignments quickly.
New widget: Assignments with no income set
This widget allows you to check whether all people have correctly set income rates quickly. If the income rate is missing in an assignment, this widget will display it.
To add the widget to your dashboard:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Select the Manage Dashboard button
- Select Add widget button
- Find the Billable assignments with no income widget and select it
New widget: Missing people from integrations
This widget allows you to quickly check whether all people have been added to Primetric based on the information provided from integrated tools. If you integrate, e.g., the time tracking tool and the integration won't find a person who tracked time in the tool, it will be displayed in this widget.
To add the widget to your dashboard:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Select the Manage Dashboard button
- Select Add widget button
- Find the Missing people from the integrations widget and select it
Minor changes
New reports available for managers without organization access: Timesheets, Projects Finances, and Projects Progress
Now, managers without Organization access can see Timesheets, Projects Finances, and Project Progress reports. Of course, based on roles and data accesses, data in such reports are limited.
Example:
Suppose you do not have Organization access, but the Administrator enabled you the Cost restricted access. In that case, you will see costs and incomes in the Project Progress reports limited to the projects and people you are responsible for. The same goes with the Timesheets.
