Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-Factor Authentication lets you enable an additional layer of security. To use 2FA you need to download Google Authenticator mobile app from the Google Play Store.
Thanks to that each time when you try to log into Primetric, you will be asked for a unique code generated in the Google Authenticator app.
How to enable 2FA?
To enable 2FA you need to:
- Download Google Authenticator App
- Go to the Profile settings
- Click the Install button
- Provide the Authorization Code from your Google Authenticator app and click the Confirm button
- Save your backup authorization codes in case you lose your mobile phone!
- 2FA is configured properly
FAQ
What if I don't have access to Google Authenticator app?
You can use the Backup Authorization Codes to log in. If you don't have your Backup Authorization Codes you need to contact the Account Administrator or Account Guardian / our support.
What if I don't use Google Workspace?
You can use another application for authorization. To do that you should configure 2FA by copying otpauth into your authorization application.
