What is a "Not settled" state and when it occurs?
Not settled budget state stands for:
- work done but not settled yet - your people started tracking time in May, but May hasn't ended yet, so you will see that there is some not settled work which should be settled at the end of May when everybody confirmed that logged all time,
- one-time overheads that were planned at the specific date, and that date has already passed (only if you enabled the "auto-commit" option),
- recurring overheads that were planned at the specific date, and that date has already passed (only if you chosen "not-settled" settlement)
Where we can see "Not settled" costs and incomes?
You can find it:
- in the budget tab -> Not settled
- project finance report
When overheads change their status from scheduled to not settled automatically, and when you need to do that manually?
One-time overheads
One-time overheads change their status from scheduled to not settled in two cases:
- When you have chosen the "Auto commit" checkbox with "Not settled" option - Primetric will automatically change status after the scheduled date
- when you commit overhead from the Scheduled tab - manual
Recurring overheads
Recurring overheads always change their status from scheduled to not settled automatically. The only difference is between status change. Primetric can automatically change status to not settled or settled depending on what you choose when planning recurring overhead.
