How Budget Locking Works

The locking function applies to individual project phases. Once a phase is locked, no modifications can be made to the budget unless explicitly unlocked. This ensures that reality aligns with records during financial reviews.

Locking Budget Step-by-Step

Log in to the Manager Role Account ➡ Go to the Projects Tab ➡ Click the right project ➡ Stay in the Planning Section ➡ Click Lock Budget right under the Estimation tab

Reporting and Exporting Financial Data to a File

The "Project Progress Report" now includes a new column: Budget Locked (Yes/No).

  • Specific phases may be frozen if "No" appears for a project. Users can expand the details to check individual phase statuses.
  • The lock status is displayed as true/false for precise tracking in exports.
