Where can I generate the API key on the Primetric side?
You can generate the API key by logging into the Administrator account. Go to the Integrations Tab and press the green Add button.

I already know from the documentation how Primetric communicates with other platforms through the API. How and where can I check Primetric's communication history (logs) with another tool?
Pay attention to the "Activities" tab located in the Admin panel. It is essential as it displays information about the actions performed on the API side. In this tab, you will find messages related to both interactions within the application not associated with external integrations (e.g., adding a project) and those related to external integrations (e.g., pulling work logs from Jira). You will also see information about possible errors occurring in server communication.

Before using the accounts, ensure you have successfully authorized the use of the generated client ID and secret data. Also, remember that depending on the set integration scope, your access to endpoints and the information returned by them may vary.

I need help with integration. What can I do?
Many factors can affect issues in API communication. Below, we'd like to give you a list of actions you can take and some other questions that may help you resolve the problem.
- Using the Administrator Role Account, use the RESET and SYNC options again.
- Revoke the token and enter new/correct keys (NOT UNINSTALL). Some platforms allow you to create a new token without uninstalling the integration (e.g., Harvest). Remember to make changes in Primetric after revoking.
- Contact the person who set up the integration in your company and check if others are experiencing the same problem.
- Find out if the integration was deleted, changed/disconnected, and reconnected.
- Does your application have the same time zone set as in Primetric? If not, try to standardize them.
- Make sure the Client ID and Client Secret are copied correctly.
- Which user has access to projects in the integration?
- What options were used: Sync from, Reset and sync, Sync last 30 days, is synchronization performed from the Administrator panel?
- Was the Trim assignments to worklogs option used?
- Timeoffs Bamboo - are time-off types visible in the administrator panel?
- Is the time-off type enabled in the administrator panel?
- Does your organization use multiple integrations?
- Does your organization use its integration that adds worklogs to systems?
- Did the problem occur after a nightly integration?
- For integrations where we provide a URL, check its correctness and copy it in case of any reporting.
I need help with integration with Jira. What can I do?
- Did the connection work correctly for the given project before?
- Does integration work correctly for other projects?
- Has the person in the system experiencing the problem been archived? Do they have the correct permissions?
- The action plan may vary depending on whether we discuss Jira Cloud or Jira Server.
- Does your organization use Jira Tempo or other plugins for time tracking?
- Jira - Are tasks from which worklogs are to be retrieved assigned to the appropriate JQL?
